Blister Packing
Blister packaging is perfect if you need extra medication support or if you are caring for an elderly relative.
We pack your medicines to your requirements weekly or monthly – bringing peace of mind to our customers and their loved ones. Fees apply. Please enquire within.
Emergency contraceptive pill (ECP)
Our pharmacists are trained to assess whether the ECP is appropriate for you.
This is done in a confidential manner.
The ECP works best if taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse

Treatment for mild urinary infections
This pharmacy has trained pharmacists who can supply the antibiotic, trimethoprim, for women aged between 16 and 65 who have an uncomplicated urinary tract infection.
Treatment for eye infections
Antibiotics available after consultation for simple conjunctivitis
Smoking Cessation
We can help you to quit smoking. We do this by offering pharmacist consultations and follow-up using the most up-to-date information on nicotine replacement therapy. We can also assist you (in conjunction with your GP) to maximise your chances of success with the prescription products available to assist with smoking cessation.
Thrush Treatment
Treatment for vaginal thrush is available from our pharmacist without a prescription. It’s important to note that not all vaginal infections are thrush. You can discuss your symptoms with our Pharmacist in private for advice.
Treatment options include anti-fungal creams, pessaries (tablets which are inserted into the vagina), or oral capsules. All of the available treatments work by stopping the growth of candida without affecting ‘helpful’ bacteria naturally present within the vagina.
Ear Piercing for Over 5 year olds
Thinking of having your ears pierced?
Our staff use a piercing gun specifically designed for piercing ears. These guns require the use of a stud and clasp that come in a pre-loaded, single use, sterile cartridge.

Huntly Pharmacy has specially trained pharmacists who are able to prescribe sildenafil for erectile dysfunction in men aged 35 – 70 years who meet specific assessment criteria.
